Death Sentence
by thegooddoctor in 100 Words
“Stay,” I commanded, my palm facing him.
He dropped to his belly, those big brown eyes looking up at me. Our gaze hung for a moment, lovingly. He was my only friend, and I, his only master.
I grabbed the package and headed to the meeting point. That’s when I heard the sirens. Four years for distribution, the judge decided, as it was my first offense. It would have been life if they’d found the warehouse.
Four years tougher, I returned. There, just as I left him, was Julian. Emaciated and still. The most loyal gimp I ever did have.

After Summer Camp
by thegooddoctor in 100 Words
We hugged our children when they stepped off the bus, but they looked at us with vacant eyes, and when they spoke, the music was missing. They didn’t know who we were, or what they were doing on this street where they’d grown up. We brought out the brownies they loved, but they said no, our precious fifth graders, and stacked their suitcases up like a funeral pyre, as if to set fire to their childhood. The bus driver stood on the corner, a new god, calling them back to their new life, while we were left to wave goodbye.

The Boat
by thegooddoctor in 100 Words
Queenie was a friend of mine. I went to visit one weekend. Her husband was there but I didn’t get to see him much because he was “busy working on the boat.”
He was working in the garden. I went out to say hello but he was silent and went on with the work.
We had a meal, just the two of us. Queenie was used to dining alone.
When we heard that the boat had sunk on its first voyage, there was a certain amount of hilarity. He had escaped with his life. The devil looks after his own.

Death Is The Last Frontier In The Simulator
by thegooddoctor in 100 Words
To be stuck in a simulator of the gateway project is weird, to say the least. How do I know I am not alive? I watch as people die and come back to life. Meaning? Bob Barker. I assure you he died several times. MeatLoaf in 2014 wrecked his car, killing him only for him to die again elsewhere. Maybe death is not what one would expect.
Maybe consciousness continues until it meets an ending in some sort of programmed book outcome. The book of Enoch might be truth. We all live until our own personalized ending of hell fire.

Slab Of Butter
by thegooddoctor in 100 Words
James had few true pleasures remaining in his life. Time, divorce, and the company had taken most everything. His doctor seemed intent on taking what remained.
“You’re going to have to cut out alcohol and fatty foods.”
James stared down at his bowl of greens. Across the table, George was cutting into his steak. Steven, keeping it light, had a baked potato topped with sour cream, chives, and bacon. They both drank from judicious glasses of red wine.
“Can you pass me that plate?”
Ignoring the stares from his friends, James smeared a large slab of butter onto his salad.

Are We All Bound In Hell?
by thegooddoctor in 100 Words
The quantum traveler reviewed history yet again.
Age of change?
Age of reality?
Watching the Mandela effects replace known history?
Or a mind swapped into a shifted realm?
For?
In Abe Lincoln’s election 1860 only 2 parties ran. Not 4.
Lincoln according to Hillary Clinton and myself was a senator.
The question really is does any of it matter?
Or is this all some sort of dream?
Science confirms we live in a simulator.
So a test is expected at the end of a simulated training run.
Is life the test or is hell just all there is to expect?

Magic Of Hell
by thegooddoctor in 100 Words
Closed time curved loop reality travel is what Mandela-effected people are experiencing.
Say WHAT? Imagine if you will a group of people with the ability to steal ideas, people, souls, and move them from one reality to the next.
Then realize the multiverse is nothing more than mirror realities played over and over again like a film with many endings.
Those moving through time are seeing the world as a past life. Where words like Dilemna are now spelt like Dilemma. While mirror mirror on the wall is talking about a Kozyrev magic mirror that transported souls from one realm.

Tannery
by thegooddoctor in 100 Words
He received a large order to carpet an entire wall: that meant working late at the light tannery, in the other room. He looked at the skyscrapers at the far end of the room where he was now, but it could be done. He had to get to the other room, where the flowers grew: once the stem was cut, the stone inside reacted chemically with the local oxygen, then melted into spots of light whose original texture was much like a tongue’s. He sighed, thinking about his life. What he really enjoyed was preparing chlorophyll manually, on the piano.

What In Hell Is A Soul?
by thegooddoctor in 100 Words
The super highway of data flowing back to the Dyson Sphere brought several questions to mind. Are all the math numbers being crunched supposedly from bitcoin to dogecoin just souls caught in the Mandela effect? Seemed illogical. And yet?
The more one reviews the simulator of life. The more questions one has to think about. Does thinking make anything right? No.
And often times thoughts bring about new ideas. The question is any of this real?
Then the realization even if this was not real. Here I am today. And here you are too? Which begs the question in hell.
