Why I Hate Peter Jackson: That’s What Bilbo Baggins Hates
|Ah, something that I actually enjoyed:
I think Peter Jackson did a good job of establishing the dwarves as a group. It was fun to see them attack their meals with such disgusting table manners. And I especially liked the song as they cleaned up the dishes. A nice realization of something that we could never fully appreciate in the book.
Sadly, this was all juxtaposed by Bilbo Baggins becoming even more of a curmudgeon. He constantly whined and complained and angrily cursed the dwarves. Why on Earth would this Bilbo Baggins go on an adventure? And with these dwarves?
