Why I Hate Peter Jackson: And So The Adventure Finally Begins

…yet I’m not sure exactly why.

The way I see it, there’s no way film Bilbo would ever have left for this adventure. At what point did Bilbo enjoy the dwarves company and begin to think, “Well, maybe a jaunt into the woods wouldn’t be so bad with these merry chaps?”

At no point.

And quite frankly, I don’t want film Bilbo on the journey. He’s too much of a sourpuss.
