Why I Hate Peter Jackson: Dwarves Gotta Sing

I have heard a couple people complain about all the dwarfish singing in the Hobbit, but I actually thought that both songs were pretty cool. When I saw the Hobbit trailer for the first time, and it was mainly just the song, I was super stoked (until I remembered that Peter Jackson was directing). But somehow the song in the movie wasn’t quite as gripping. Maybe because I’d already seen it once.

Or maybe because we’re almost 40 minutes in, and the adventure hasn’t even begun. Don’t worry though, we’ve still got 2+ hours of adventuring left.
