Why LOTR Sucks: The Mines Of Moria

As much as I’ve complained so far, the truth is that I think The Fellowship Of The Ring is the best of the three movies. We’ve got a ways to go before I get really angry. And the reason why this movie is the best is because the sequence in the Mines of Moria, from beginning to end, is consistently the best of the movie. It’s starts out with a nice action piece with the Watcher in the Water, and end’s with Gandalf’s fall. This is Peter Jackson at his best.
