Why LOTR Sucks: Not Long Enough

I’m sure that Peter Jackson and his assistants spent hours and hours and brainstorming how to get the ring on Frodo’s finger when he trips in the tavern. In the book, he is handling it in his pocket and it accidentally, as if it has a mind of it’s own, slips onto his finger. In the movie, it launches into the air and comes down on Frodo’s finger. It looks ridiculous.

They should have brainstormed a lot longer.
