Why LOTR Sucks: Where Are Their Priorities?

I never liked the scene with the crumbling bridge, and them having to jump over. It seems a bit hackneyed, and very cheesy, especially when the bridge teeters back and forth in defiance of the laws of physics, before falling forward and saving them from certain death. But I could see how people would go for that, so I won’t criticize it too much. Personal tastes and what not.

However, you would think, with Frodo being the ring-bearer and all, that they would have him be one of the first ones to jump the chasm. Instead, because of bad foresight, they leave him until last, putting him at the most risk.

Smart.
