The wall has always been there, separating us from chaos. On this side we have civilization. The other side is unknown. Without the wall, we’d all be lost.
Those that walk the wall protect us from that fate. They are neither here nor there. They may not be alive anymore. They may be immortal. They came from us, but are no longer with us.
They are the timewalkers.
