The Jeepneys are the most popular form of transportation in the Philippines. They own the streets, parading up and down at all hours of the night, trolling for customers. The people pack themselves inside, forming miniature communities for as long as their commutes last. The Jeepneys are chaotic and dangerous. They are awesome. They command your attention and assault your senses with color and sound and odor. They are the cockroaches of the road, impervious to radiation or exterminators.
