The building did not start as a building. It previously enjoyed a long life as a submarine before retiring late in the last century.
The building still longs for it’s ambulant past. It watches as the boats drift by, or the wind carries the birds up into the sky, and it remembers a time when it was not a building, when it could explore the deepest depths of the ocean.
Now it houses accountants and lawyers. The building has learned one lesson in its lifetime: retirement is to be avoided at all costs.
