Steve Marks On The State Of The Industry

We had the good fortune to get a sit down with Steve Marks, the Executive Director of the OLCC, at the Cannabis Collaborative Conference in January. We discussed the current state of the industry, what’s gone right with legalization, and how the OLCC is handling the issue of over production.

Of particular note, Marks offers his thoughts on how soon we might expect the legalization of export (hint: Don’t hold your breath!).

The CCC is well respected for the opportunities it provides cannabis business owners to have meaningful interactions with the state’s regulatory bodies. This kind of back and forth access can be invaluable, especially with so much uncertainty and volatility in the market.
