I am a vegan, and it would<br \/>\nbe easier if you were too. <\/p>\n<p>But then I would lose<br \/>\nyour playfulness and pounce, and turn<br \/>\nyou into a timid, nibbling rabbit. <\/p>\n<p>I love you for those things,<br \/>\nfor your wish to feed me, and for<br \/>\nyour love for me, strange as <\/p>\n<p>I must appear to you: so huge,<br \/>\nso hairless, so hopeless a hunter. She now teaches writing at Michigan State University.  Last year she published over a hundred poems in the U.S., Germany, India, Bangladesh, Yemen, and Zimbabwe, and won third prize in the Singapore Poetry Contest for her poem on global warming.
