The doctor left.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, how does it look?\u201d the patient asked the nurse. Realizing his covers were off and she was peering down at him below the waist. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI mean, my ankle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The nurse funneled her eyes through his. Her full lips smiled at the corners. Giggling followed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re on the mend, Ray,\u201d she said.  \u201cDr. Hoo just wants to take one more X-ray.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>From Guest Contributor Krystyna Fedosejevs<\/p>\n<p>Krystyna writes poetry, flash fiction and short stories.
